ABOUT ABOUT

The Beaches Museum and Lazzara Family Foundation will wrap up the Spring Concert Series with Chris Thomas King, Monday, May 22 at 7 p.m. in the Beaches Museum Chapel.

King’s immersion into music started at an early age through the Baton Rouge, LA nightclub owned by his father, Tabby Thomas. He may be best known for his contributions to the movie “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” in which he played real-life Delta blues-man Tommy Johnson. He also recorded a version of Skip James' "Hard Time Killing Floor Blues" for the soundtrack of the same movie; which helped propel him into the spotlight. King's musical talents and influences are varied and make for a charismatic performance.

Join the Beaches Museum for a night of wonderful and unique music in the most inviting and intimate atmosphere in Jacksonville. Tickets are $20 for the show in advance, $25 day of show. Visit www.BeachesMuseum.org or call 904-241-5657 to purchase tickets.

The Beaches Museum Chapel Concert series is generously sponsored by the Gasper & Irene Lazzara Charitable Foundation and Entertainment and Productions.
